Mediterranean cities are increasingly exposed to environmental pressures such as biodiversity loss, soil degradation, and the Urban Heat Island effect. The RealUrbanGreen project addresses these challenges by promoting a holistic and participatory model for the regeneration of Urban Green Spaces (UGS).

Across eight pilot areas within the Euro-MED zone, the project engages citizens, local authorities, and stakeholders in the co-design and co-management of tailored solutions aimed at improving the health and climate resilience of parks and gardens. By enhancing the multifunctionality of green spaces and integrating urban planning with climate adaptation and social inclusion, RealUrbanGreen transforms green areas into valuable assets for sustainable, human-centered, and collaborative cities.

Interested candidates are invited to submit a detailed CV by April 11, 2025, to info@commonspace.gr or via the contact page on this website, indicating the position they are applying for.
