MAINCODE 1st workshop with students in 4th Primary of Halandri

Workshops at the 4th Primary School of Chalandri continue as part of the DUT MAINCODE project!

Around 250 students from all grades took part in the first workshop, where they learned about the project and explored the values of participatory design as a key response to climate change 🌍🤝.

The children then drew 🎨 or searched online 💻 to show what their dream schoolyard would look like 🌳🌿 and what they enjoy doing during recess ⏱️. Sports activities ⚽🏀, games 🛝, relaxing moments 😌 and – of course – a swimming pool! 🏊‍♀️💦 were among their favorite ideas.

The workshops will continue both in the primary school and in the two kindergartens of the school unit! 👧👦📚📚
