The participatory workshops of MAINCODE are on the go!

The students of the 4th Primary School of Chalandri took part in the 2nd children’s workshop of the DUT MAINCODE project 📚 from March 2nd to March 4th, 2026 📅

This 2nd workshop focused on analyzing the current condition of the schoolyard through the children’s perspective 👀 and their everyday lived experience 🏫

  First, they recorded the positive 👍 and negative 👎 aspects of their schoolyard as it is today, using an observation sheet

 Then, they carried out a collective mapping activity on a floor plan, identifying key areas of their yard 📍 and sharing their ideas 💡 and proposals

 Finally, they completed a questionnaire about the essential functions that their new bioclimatic schoolyard 🌿 should include in order to meet their needs!

 The workshops will continue throughout March until May of the school year 📆✨
